Meet Connections Residential 👋

We’re Nick and Mike Willoughby – a father-and-son team based on the Gold Coast, behind Connections Residential.

We design and deliver well-planned, prefabricated secondary dwellings across South East Queensland (SEQ). With backgrounds in property development, project management, engineering and construction, we understand both the on-site detail and the bigger picture of how a granny flat fits into your property strategy.

Nick has spent the last decade in client-side project management and residential development, overseeing large-scale subdivision, townhouse, retirement living and prefabricated housing projects across Southeast Queensland.

Mike brings 40+ years’ experience in building and construction, from residential to remote projects. His practical know-how has shaped our patented panelised system – designed for cleaner, faster installs with less disruption to you and your neighbours, backed by clear communication from first enquiry through to handover.

Our aim is simple: help ease the housing crunch by creating high-quality secondary dwellings that actually work for real sites, real families, and real budgets.
